DIGITAL PRINTING PROCESS
The print process we use here at Friedman's is DIGITAL SUBLIMATION. Using specialist CAD/CAM software to design, repeat and colour match artwork, we send all digital design files to our specialist print room complete with the latest sophisticated, cutting edge inkjet printers.
DIGITAL SUBLIMATION means we digitally print our designs onto a specific WIDE FORMAT PAPER (media).This paper is then transferred via a ROTARY CALENDAR (transfer machine AT HEAT.
This process lends itself to WHITE, POLYESTER based fabrics only.
The benefits of which provide EXCELLENT FASTNESS and DURABILITY, plus EXCEPTIONAL DEPTH OF COLOUR!
As this is a dry process there is NO WATER WASTE.
The inks used in our printers are AQUEOUS (water based) and DO NOT CONTAIN ACID.
